Sammis Photography » A photographer and Army wife

Hello, and welcome to Sammis Photography! As an Oklahoma native I have always appreciated the vast beauty that surrounds us. Yet it wasn't until college and graduate school that I started to see the world in terms of great images, and was inspired to learn more about photography. However scholastic life, my duties as a coxswain and rower on a Division I crew, and role as a show dog handler, something I'd done since age 5, dictated that this new found interest take a back seat for a while longer.

Fast forward 8 years as I started a family with my wonderful husband, and the birth of my daughter that photography came to the forefront of my life. My daughter inspired me to see the world in new ways, and created a passion for capturing those fleeting special moments. It is that desire to capture those moments that I would love to share with you. From family or personal portraits, to personalised images of your companion pet, I enjoy seeing things in new and creative ways. I love the experience of sharing my passion for photography, and helping capture that once in a lifetime image in a unique way. All my experiences have prepared me to do what I love the most, for which I am grateful.
